Avon Lake Historical Society is pleased to bring you monthly historical programming in partnership with ALPL.

Jan. 22 : Beryl Prusinoski  will present "Settlement of Avon and Dover".

Feb. 12 : Stephanie Kramer-Vetrone will tell the story of Katharine, the younger sister of Wilbur & Orville Wright and the important role she played in early United States Aviation Industry.  

March 11 : David Simmer will present a history of the ethnic communities and neighborhoods of Lorain County.

April 15: Col. Matt Nahorn, Local Historian from Amherst, OH will present "Residents of the Historic Shupe Homestead & Mystery at Oak Point".  He will shed light on those who called Shupe Homestead their home and mysterious plans for the land around nearby Oak Point.
