YOU BELONG summer youth group is for students in grades 8 thru 12 to socialize and participate in structured/supervised activities along with Prevention Specialist – Mrs. Goodwin at the Avon Lake Public Library.
The group will meet Mondays | 6 -7:30 pm | June 6 - August 8. No registration is required.
What is YOU BELONG?  This is an all-inclusive group – no matter the students’ abilities, ethnicity, or individualized thoughts.  The program was created several years ago to “improve the sense of belonging and safety experienced by students,” according to the Mental Health, Addiction and Recovery Services Board (MHARS) of Lorain County.  The idea was born out of wanting every student to feel like they are part of a family consisting of student peers.
