Heritage Avon Lake...HAL PRESENTS  Language of Flowers

Beryl is a local resident of Avon, and a retiree of PolyOne in Avon Lake. She will share with us how members of Victorian society communicated in subtle ways, and flowers were a major component of that language. We will investigate the meanings associated with various flowers, and how the Victorians conveyed their carefully crafted messages in gifts, dress, and food.
