Program Description

Event Details

This journaling class offers fun and creative techniques that teach kids how to get in touch with their feelings in a positive way. Journals will be provided for participants.

Sessions are led by Amy Grills who holds a BA in Psychology from Cleveland State with a minor in Creative Writing. She is currently working on her Masters in Social Work with a concentration in social-emotional development in children. It has been a goal of hers to lead a class designed to help younger children build self-esteem through creative writing and journaling. She is a mother of three children, an active member of the Avon Lake community, and an avid library supporter.

This is a 5 week long class; please plan to attend all sessions. Class may be going outside at times, so please dress for the weather. Open to students in grades 3 & 4.
