Avon Lake Public Library
The McMahan Meeting Room on the lower level contains a local history exhibit. This large room is available for public use. A small attached kitchen is available if food service is desired.
- The Library charges not-for-profit organizations and businesses nominal and nonrefundable fees for the use of meeting rooms.
- Reservations for use are on a first-come, first-serve basis.
- This room may be reserved up to 3 months in advance.
- Please vacate the room at least 15 minutes prior to closing.
Library meeting rooms are not available to non-library groups or individuals for the promotion or sales of services or products, fundraising, conducting classes for profit or private social functions including but not limited to birthday or retirement parties, bridal/baby showers, family gatherings.
Equipment
The McMahan Meeting Room has an overhead projector. A laptop computer and sound system are available with advance notice. A mounted projector screen is on the front wall. This room also has a Promethean Board available.
Seating
- In theater style, maximun seating is 60.
- In U-shape, maximun seating is 48.
- In classroom style, rectangular tables, maximun seating is 24.
- Additional round tables or rectangular tables are available.
- Please allow a minimum of 30 minutes before and after your meeting to rearrange the room and return it to its original state.
- Maximum occupancy, standing room only, is 150.
