Hillary Jordan Author - 1:00 p.m. Avon Lake High School Performing Arts Center - Appearance and Book Signing

The Avon Lake Public Library, in partnership with the Avon Lake Schools, is honored to bring American novelist Hillary Jordan to speak on Thursday, October 3, 2019. Ms. Jordan will be speaking at the Avon Lake High School Performing Arts Center (175 Avon Beldon Road, Avon Lake) at 1:00 p.m. There will be limited seating for this event and registration here is required. 2 tickets per person.

Books will be available for purchase and there will be an opportunity for the author to sign books at this event.  

Her book won both the 2006 Bellwether Prize for fiction and a 2009 Alex Award from the American Library Association. Mudbound was also made into a movie and premiered at the 2017 Sundance Film Festival.
