Program Description

Event Details

The men and women of the 1940s have been called “The Greatest Generation”, but their contributions are not limited to the past.  From the technologies, they developed lessons they can teach us, the WWII generation has forever reshaped the course of humanity.  Perhaps their most lasting legacy will be the prevention of World War III, but only if we take the time to learn the lessons they have for us.

Speaker Ray Kling has spent over 20 years collecting artifacts and stories from WWII.  He will share a display of artifacts and give a presentation on the lessons of WWII.  From leadership to international relations we will explore the lasting legacy of The Greatest Generation.

This program is part of the Mudbound Community Read event.
