As a part of the Community Read based on the book Mudbound, by author Hillary Jordan, join us as Hannah DiVencenzo, Adjunct Professor of Nutrition from Lorain County Community College and Lorain County Farm Bureau, will present an informative class on safely canning and preserving food. This program is designed for people who want to learn more about basic home food preservation using the water bath canning method. Participants will learn how to use a water bath canner to preserve the bounty of fresh produce all year long. The program includes techniques, handouts, and discussion.
