Kick off spring break 2021 with some magic!  Visit the ALPL YouTube Channel starting Friday, April 2 to learn a few magic tricks that you can use to astonish your family.

Put on your thinking caps for the monthly scavenger hunt. Hunts take place outside of the library building or at home. Pick up a scavenger hunt sheet from the south door box or print one from the website.

Join Ms. Kim on the ALPL YouTube channel to learn a couple simple rhymes or ASL signs to do with your baby.

Join the Children’s staff on the ALPL YouTube channel each week  for a quick story and rhyme at home. Search for Avon Lake Public Library on YouTube. New stories will be posted each Monday morning and will be available throughout the week.

Our take-home kit includes coloring designs based on works by known artists, a colored pencil set, an art-themed activity, and suggested reading and viewing if you’d like to learn more about the world of art.
