Live String Ensemble Performance with a reading of The Story of Ferdinand the Bull.
Instrument “Petting Zoo” following the performance
Instruments will be provided by Bowed String Shop
For ages 2 and up
Event Description:
A string ensemble performs an arrangement of famous melodies from Bizet’s opera Carmen, while a narrator reads The Story of Ferdinand by Munroe Leaf. The performance is followed by an instrument “petting zoo”, where kids are guided by professional musicians on how to touch, feel, and hold a real stringed instrument.
