For grades 4-8 (afternoon session is now cancelled)
Use the LCCC Campana Center Portable Makerspace (aka the FAB CAB) to make and decorate your own mechanical sculpture (known as automata). Design your own character or scene, then tinker with cardboard, craft foam, and other familiar and reclaimed materials to create simple mechanisms to make it move up and down, turn around, or jump back and forth.
