Connecting Us to The Beauty of Microwave Pressed Flowers: How to preserve fresh flowers using a microwave with helpful Tips  and Tricks. 

Darlene Hritz will show ideas for using pressed flowers in a float frame design, a pumpkin, a glass votive holder and notecards. She will demonstrate the steps to make a pressed flower notecard.   

NOTE:  The number of participants creating notecards is limited.  Anyone who wishes to participate and create flower notecards must pre-register and pay $10.00 online or at the Library by Sunday, February 8. Those who register and prepay will have the opportunity to make 3 notecards, and must bring their own pair of tweezers, sharp scissors, and pencil or waterproof pen to the presentation. No registrations/payments can be accepted at the day of the presentation. 

The public is welcome to attend the presentation without charge but will be unable to participate in the creation of notecards.
