Deanna Adams, author of Rock 'n' Roll and the Cleveland Connection, as well as the photographic collection, Cleveland's Rock and Roll Roots will recount much of this city’s ties to rock ’n’ roll, beginning with the Moondog Coronation Ball, held at the Cleveland Arena on March 21, 1952. From there, she'll tell about the Cleveland record spinners that "got the rock rollin'," such as Alan Freed, Bill Randle, and Casey Kasem and other notable deejays from radio stations such as WIXY-1260 and WMMS.

Join the fun as you "experience" this musical history by hearing the recordings and watching videos of diverse local artists.

This hour presentation will easily answer the question, "Why is the Rock Hall in Cleveland?" By its completion, you'll only wonder why it took so long.
