Kristina Mullenix (she/her/ella) is a Public Historian who specializes in oral history and genealogy. She holds a BA in History and an MLIS in Archives Management. In 2023 she was a Cauthen Fellow with the Alabama Folklife Association and has published several local history research articles. She recently collaborated with a team from the University of Alabama to host a community scan day event. Genealogy has been her passion since childhood days spent traipsing through old cemeteries with her parents on tropical Southern days while searching for ancestors.
