Dark Skies, Bright Kids! Eclipse Community Event

Join us for the biggest eclipse event before THE biggest total solar eclipse event - Dark Skies, Bright Kids - next Thurs., February 15th from 6:00pm - 8:00pm here at the Avon Lake Public Library.

We have partnered with the City of Avon Lake Parks & Recreation Department to host this FREE event with FREE eclipse glasses for anyone who attends (while supplies last and one per person) and multiple FREE activities, presentations, and more all about the upcoming April eclipse.

Our friends with NASA's Glenn Research Center will be attending along with expert volunteers with the Black River Astronomical Society, Stella's Starry Adventures, and other astronomy experts. We'll have several telescopes on site for night time viewing outdoors (and weather dependent). Lastly, pick up some eclipse-inspired sweet treats from Susan's Sugar & Spice available for purchase.
