The Avon Lake Public Library is hosting its first ever ALPL Tiny Art Show. A Tiny Art Show is exactly as it sounds–it’s like a regular art show, only tiny! The ALPL Tiny Art Show is free and open to artists of all skill levels and ages to participate. 

Register here to receive a mini art kit and create your masterpiece. The kit includes a mini canvas (4"x 4"), paintbrush, and paint. Beginning Feb. 1st through Feb. 10th, stop by the Library to pick up your Tiny Art Show supply kit and create your own masterpiece at home. You may also use any supplies you have at home to make your mini canvas uniquely yours! We just ask that all submissions are family friendly. Return your canvas to the library by Feb. 20th to have your art displayed as part of our inaugural Tiny Art Show which will be held from March 1st through the 30th. This will be a non judged show. Limit one canvas per participant. We reserve the right to limit the number of canvases picked up by any single person or group. Supplies are limited to 100 participants. Tiny Art Show Rules & Guidelines

  • Artists must register online or via phone to receive a canvas and art supplies.
  • Artists can be all ages.
  • All artwork must be on the canvas provided by the Library and able to be displayed on an easel or flat against the wall.
  • Entry form required for submitted artwork.
  • Art will start being displayed beginning on Friday, March 1st.
  • Art can be dropped off any time between Feb. 2 - Feb. 20th. The sooner the better!
  • Other than food, all materials are welcome to be used in the creation of your art.
  • Artwork and the title of the artwork must be appropriate for all ages.
  • Library staff reserve the right to reject any art that does not follow these guidelines.
  • Canvas kits (canvas, paintbrush and rules) will be available beginning Thursday, Feb. 1st - Feb. 10th.
  • If you want your art back at the end of the show, it can be picked up between April 1-7. All pieces not picked up by the end of day April 7th will be discarded.
