Event Details

Do you watch the Scripps National Spelling Bee and think, 'how do these kids do that? or 'I'm a great Speller!'  Well, now is your chance to highlight your skills!  SIGN UP AT ALPL.ORG/PROGRAMS to vie for the first ever ALPL Spelling Bee trophy.

Words will be chosen from Words of Champions 2025: Your Key to the Bee which is available to checkout at the library or purchase from your favorite bookseller.  It is also available as an app on the Scripps National Spelling Bee Website.

There will be three progressively harder rounds for all participants. Points will be awarded for each word spelled correctly across all three rounds. Winners will be determined by points accrued at the end.
