Event Details

Learn how to hold the acoustic guitar, play with a guitar pick and start playing some guitar riffs.

Dee Lovett will show young beginning guitarists how to hold the guitar, learn the parts of the guitar and teach young players to start playing and practicing.

Students need to bring a guitar to class.  If a student does not have a guitar the library has a limited number of lesson guitars.  These guitars do not leave the library.  If a student would like to be able to take a guitar home, the library does have a limited number of guitars that can be checked out by an adult (parent).

Signing up for the first lesson, signs participants up for all five lessons.  The lesson dates are May 14th, May 21st, May 28th, June 4th and June 11th (last lesson).
